Santorini leans hard into its caldera views. Mykonos plays up the scene. Paros, on the other hand — well, Paros just gets on with it. Without much fuss, it embraces the easygoing rhythm that feels increasingly rare in the Cyclades.
Andronis Minois Paros fits that mood perfectly. It has beauty with nothing to prove, and comfort without excess. It’s a thoughtful, well-run boutique hotel that feels exactly right for this island: quiet by design, not by accident. If you’re looking for a scene, look elsewhere; the stillness here is the whole appeal.

“Andronis Minois captures what Paros does well: beauty without the performance, and comfort without excess.”
— From our review of Andronis Minois.
The architecture here takes the clean, contemporary read on Cycladic style: pale walls, simple lines, nothing overworked.
A 2023 renovation runs through the whole property, and it shows in all the right ways — everything felt fresh, but never at the expense of the easy, unpretentious island feeling we’d come for. Calm and put-together, rather than flashy. That’s the whole point.

“The central pool area became the natural rhythm of our days, and it never felt overcrowded.”
— From our review of Andronis Minois.
The pool isn’t the biggest we’ve seen on the island, and it doesn’t need to be. It’s the center of gravity here; the place your day naturally organizes itself around, sunbed to water and back again, the Aegean sitting quietly in the background the entire time. We lost whole afternoons this way and never once felt like we were competing for space.
“It’s a handy base if you want to explore a bit, but it also works brilliantly as a place to do very little.”
— From our review of Andronis Minois.
Andronis Minois hotel sits just above the sea near Parasporos, close enough to walk down to the beach in a few minutes (about 200 meters, easy and unhurried) yet perched high enough that the terraces genuinely deliver on those sea views.
We had a balcony sea-view suite; it was one of the highlights of the stay. Spacious, bright, and private without ever feeling cut off, we spent many an evening right there, drinks in hand, watching the light change over the water.
If a private plunge pool matters more to you than the view, Andronis Minois also has suites built around that — worth knowing before you book, since the room category you choose really does shape the stay.
What we noticed more than any single dish, though, was the service. Warm, low-key, the kind where someone remembers how you take your coffee without turning it into a moment.
Dinner at Olvo was consistently good, which made it easy to stop thinking about where else to eat. The terrace looks straight out over the sea, and the kitchen leans into modern Mediterranean cooking built around what’s actually local.
For lunch and dinner we gravitated toward the lighter, herb-driven plates and the seafood every time. Breakfast happens on the same terrace, and it’s generous without being fussy: a proper Greek spread, good coffee, no reason to rush.

We booked the shortest treatment on the Aura Spa menu (30 minutes each) — mostly out of curiosity — but it turned out to be one of the better spa experiences either of us can remember. We were both asleep within minutes. Not the kind of spa visit that leaves you polished and slightly wired; the kind that actually resets you.
Our 2026 guide to the top hotels on the island
The town of Parikia is only about ten minutes away by car or hotel shuttle, and we made the trip a few times for a change of scenery, for seafood, or for a slow wander through the old kastro. And Andronis Minois is a genuinely useful base if you want to see more of the island. But the real luxury of it is that the hotel works just as well if you never leave the pool at all.
Andronis Minois Paros isn’t inexpensive — particularly for the top suites in peak season — but between the space, the design, and the kind of service that never calls attention to itself, it felt earned every time we thought about it. Step out onto that balcony, pour something cold, and see Paros the way Andronis Minois does — with nothing to prove.
