The Balé Nusa Dua, Bali

Villas

Each villa is set within its own walled enclosure, with a garden and swimming pool. Comfortable and equipped with modern gadgets, the interiors carry on the ultra-minimalist and serene theme. There is a lot of space to relax, including a huge bed.

Chic bathrooms have twin basins, a sunken bath and an indoor and outdoor shower. A choice of delicious aromatic hand-made balms, shampoos, soaps, and bath salts is offered from a wooden box by staff on arrival.

The minimalist palette is a key component of the Balé Nusa Dua's charm, setting it apart from other hotels on the island. With no children policy, the hotel is perfect for couples and honeymooners.

• There is a lot of stairs, which can be physically challenging for some
• The hotel has limited sea view
• The Bale is located on a hill in the enclave of Nusa Dua, on the Bukit peninsula—the nearest town with bars and shops is 30 minutes by car
