Trendy boutique hotel

This place radiates freshness and modernity, emphasized by feminine textures, witty art, and playful imagery. Every corner here contains commissioned art—such as the 10ft metal head artwork by Jaume Plensa or life-size dog sculptures from Justine Smith, alongside touchy-feely textures and furnishings.

The Drawing Room is a sumptuous and colorful residents’ lounge with fireplaces and deep sofas, but the most striking is the hotel’s lobby, light and bright with soaring glass windows opening onto a lovely courtyard garden.

The Crosby Bar is the heart of the hotel, serving mainly modern New York brasserie fare, in an ultra-stylish space consisting of sky-high windows and doors, warm colors, grey oak wood flooring, and a long pewter bar.

A feature that has the hotel standing out from the crowd is a private cinema, a space with 99 orange leather Poltrona Frau chairs and walls padded in violet wool.

Rooms

Crosby Street Hotel’s 86 individually designed rooms and suites are a clever mix of modern and vintage styling, each featuring huge, floor-to-ceiling windows—a rarity in New York City. Each boudoir comes with the latest tech and fully stocked minibars. Baths are executed in a light gray granite, oak, and glass, and are outfitted with rain showers or oversized tubs.
