With a privileged address just off Barcelona’s most stylish boulevard Paseo de Gracia, the hyper-trendy Hotel Omm stands out—thanks to its innovative architecture, cool interiors and sun-filled airy spaces.
Catalan architect Juli Capella has created an über-modern and innovative building resembling the peeled-back pages of a book and the overall effect is as chic and stylish as it is striking.
Where style is paramount
The designer used light and dark to a dramatic effect, especially evident in the contrast between the moody communal halls and lounges—and bright, naturally lit bedrooms.
Each of the airy Omm’s rooms has a balcony, chic and modern décor with luxurious beds, parquet floors and spacious bathrooms full of natural sunlight. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the street or quiet interior garden.
Barcelona’s hippest hangout
The sleek bar attracts a healthy sampling of fashionable locals—you might spot an A-list celeb too: Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman and others are former guests.
An exclusive rooftop terrace with swimming pool with incredible views over Barcelona completes this urban hotel. The terrace provides a perfect setting for summer drinks, though guests can also enjoy cocktails in the lobby bar, or in the Omm’s on-site nightclub.
But its the food that causes the biggest stir. The hotel’s stylish, Michelin-starred Moo restaurant is one of Barcelona’s best restaurants, where head chef Felip Llufriu serves up a creative Catalan menu.
