El Palauet Modernist Suites Barcelona

The designers carefully restored the building’s original features, including the stained glass windows, distinctive ceilings, crown molding, and French doors.

Complementing the architectural opulence of the 1906 building is an excellent selection of Art Deco, Mid Century Modern, and contemporary furniture.

The monochromatic palette of bone, gray, and white dresses the entire building, fusing the mixture of styles, textures, and patterns into a cohesive theme.

It’s décor that offers a sophisticated mix of the ornate and the minimal—and soothing lights and music nourish the perfect calming atmosphere.

Apartment living

All this is perfectly harmonized with ingenious high-tech in-room facilities and accessories—including in the private kitchen, where guests can cook for themselves or arrange for a chef to come in and prepare a fancy dinner.

Everything can be taken care of by the designated personal assistant, who will go above and beyond expectations when making sure the time at El Palauet Living is as worry-free and as optimized as possible.

He will organize for breakfast to be prepared in the room, sort out all kinds of shopping (also with a personal shopper), arrange a massage, a hairdresser and make-up artist, laundry service, babysitting, car rental, and tickets for shows, etc, etc. He will even walk the guests’ small dogs.

What you should know

• Dogs are welcome! (“Small and well-educated dogs” that is)
• There’s no bar or restaurant at El Palauet Living, but the personal assistant can arrange meals—and there are plenty of great restaurant in the area
• The hotel has no swimming pool, but there is a great rooftop spa with jacuzzi, chill-out lounge and massage room.
• In-room massages and other treatments are available on request, including hair and makeup services
• You may suffer from in-room gadgetry fatigue
• Barcelona El Prat airport is about 25-30 minutes away by taxi. It takes 10-15 minutes to Sants train station
