Located right at the heart of the vibrant Sukhumvit, the ultra-exclusive MaDuZi is a one-of-a-kind conceptual hotel with beautifully designed rooms, stunning collection of art and tailor-made, boutique luxury experience.
MaDuZi Bangkok is swanky, sexy and has a sophisticated, edgy feel, thanks to the hotel’s sublime design that references Chinese and Moorish inspiration.
Private and discreet
What sets MaDuZi apart from other hotels is its emphasis on privacy and security. Here guests enjoy one of the safest and most private hotel experiences in Bangkok, under the “luxury isolation” concept.
MaDuZi allows no walk-ins: only people with advanced reservations have access to the building. No visitors can be admitted if they don’t know the guest’s password (kind of like in the movie Notting Hill).
Once cleared for entry, the guests will be engrossed by the serene aesthetic of MaDuZi.
All elements of the décor combine to create the seductive effect: streamlined furniture, gleaming wood floors, seductive lighting and carefully placed art and antiques—even screens with abstract patterns that cast intricate shadows on the walls and gray striped flooring.
There is no traditional hotel lobby—instead a round bar with seating greets the lucky guests. It sets a private atmosphere from the get-go.
Spacious guest rooms
The swanky theme continues in guest rooms, but here the edgy vibe is dialed down somewhat to a cozier level—with teak wood, dark-brown leather furnishings and grey rugs spread on the blond wood floorboards.
In-room amenities include free WiFi, 42” LDC screen TV set with cable TV, CD/DVD player with a port for MP3 and surround sound speakers. Marble bathrooms are stocked with an impressive sampling of local scents and amenities.
There is a tea room, restaurant, an outdoor terrace and gym open around the clock at the hotel, but MaDuZi is particularly famed for the informal La Truffle Restaurant run by Yuya, the master French chef from Japan.
Using organic vegetables, fresh seafood and other premium products, Yuya creates a marvelous French-Asian fusion cuisine—supported by a superb wine list.
