In the heart of Venice, housed in an elegant palazzo built in the late 1500s, this boutique hotel stylishly embraces past and present.
Ca’ Pisani Hotel, fully renovated between 1998 and 2000, was the first hotel of its kind in Venice.
Alive with style and personality
The architecture of this 14th century Venetian palace have remained untouched, but the interiors show a strong Art Deco influence—and the technology is purely 21st century.
Each bedroom is individually designed: well appointed with some lovely furniture from the 1930s and 40s and futurist paintings—and bathrooms finished with reflective “starlight” masonry. On the top floor, the palazzo boasts a splendid “loft” with three rooms and easy access to the Turkish bath; once popular in large Venetian townhouses.
Ca’ Pisani invites to marvel at the world of details: every feature has been thoughtfully chosen, considered, designed and made with a purpose in mind—from the reception counter and mail box, to the intricately designed, fish-shaped ebony room keys and beautiful door handles. Artworks by Fortunato Depero are on show throughout the hotel, and the futurist theme is continued into the hotel’s trendy Wine & Cheese Bar La Rivista. The cuisine here brings a modern twist to the Venetian fare.
In summer months tables from La Rivista are laid out on the street, allowing for dining by candlelight, whilst an ideal place to relax on hot summer afternoons is the gorgeous rooftop terrace with lounge chairs and panoramic views of the city.
